Justice is collaborative care and community solutions

What is Community Court?

An initiative at Municipal and Traffic Court of New Orleans, we seek care-driven, non-punitive solutions to low-level offenses. As the first and only Community Court in Louisiana, our non-traditional approach seeks to address the root causes of non-violent criminal behavior and support affected communities. Our work is grounded in the belief that people and communities thrive when they are treated as respected partners and have access to all they need.
